Dairy-tech startup ORIGHT raised $1 M Seed funding
Aeravti Ventures is the lead investor in the seed funding round of $1 million raised by dairy-tech startup ORIGHT.
Previously, Loyal and other investors had contributed $847K to the Gurugram-based company.
According to a press release from ORIGHT, the additional funding will be used to grow its platform, increase the range of products it offers, and give its farmers, processors, and distributors even more power.
ORIGHT, which was co-founded in 2019 by Utkarsh Kapoor and Rame Kachroo, offers an Internet of Things device for milk traceability. Its IoT devices monitor a number of parameters, including water, humidity, temperature, FAT, SNF, and adulterants, as well as the quality of the milk.
Along with tracking the milk to its ultimate destination, it also accounts for the time it spends in transport vans, chillers, and the surroundings when the milk is finally packed. The gathered data is sent straight to a blockchain network by its IoT devices.
ORIGHT wants to use state-of-the-art technology to create a highly synchronized and efficient supply chain for the dairy industry. Transparency, sustainability, and high quality are guaranteed throughout the entire value chain, from the farm to the consumer.
