Deep-tech XR startup Ajna Lens receives investment from Lenskart

The deep tech startup Ajna Lens, based in Mumbai, is producing XR glasses with AI capabilities. Lenskart has announced a strategic investment in the company. The company won the 2023 CES Innovation Award for AjnaXR, the most cutting-edge mixed reality headset in the market.
The collaboration, according to Lenskart, is a step forward for the creation of smart glasses with AI capabilities. It intends to use its technologically-first strategy and frame design and engineering experience to produce smart glasses that are more accessible to all and better meet the lifestyle demands of customers.
With an omnichannel presence across 14 countries, Lenskart claims to be able to use consumer insights to inform its strategy for innovation and product development.
