Defense tech startup Sharang Shakti raised Rs 5 Cr Pre-seed funding
In a pre-seed funding round co-led by AUM Ventures and Venture Highway, with participation from the JK Group’s Family office, Appreciate Capital, and other angel investors, defense robotics startup Sharang Shakti has raised Rs 5 crore.
According to a press release from Sharang Shakti, the money will be utilized for team expansion and product development.
co-founded in 2023 by Rishabh Choudhary, Jitendra Singh, Gaurav Kumar, Chirag Singla, and Karan Goyal.Sharang Shakti is a security robotics company that innovates in airborne threat mitigation and airspace surveillance.
As the first of several products in its development pipeline, the company is currently working on an anti-drone system that is intended to detect, track, and neutralize hostile drones.
The company, which is based in Gurugram, wants to develop a broad range of robotic systems for defense applications and create the next generation of Lockheed Martin in India by concentrating on creating a comprehensive technology stack.
This month, the defense technology-focused firm Indusbridge Ventures and the US-based deep-tech venture builder FedTech collaborated to launch the “I2A Launchpad” program. Supporting Indian startups with two uses is the initiative’s goal.
