Digital therapy startup Blueroomcare raised undisclosed Pre-seed funding
An undisclosed round of pre-seed funding has been raised by Nigerian startup Blueroomcare, a digital therapy service that is covered by insurance, to further its goal of offering therapy that is both accessible and affordable to all Africans.
Blueroomcare, which debuted in late 2021, enables voice, video, and in-app messaging between clients and therapists.
Its platform offers users a comprehensive and customized mental health experience by combining cutting-edge algorithms with individualized support from certified mental health professionals.
TVC Labs, Innovest Africa, and EHA Impact Ventures led the startup’s pre-seed funding round, which will be used to expand the Blueroomcare platform’s functionality, add new features, and reach a wider audience.
“We are thrilled to have the support of such a remarkable group of investors who believe in our mission,” said Moses Aiyenuro, founder and CEO of Blueroomcare. “This funding will allow us to develop our technology further and expand our services, bringing us closer to our goal of making high-quality mental health care available to everyone, everywhere.”
