E-gaming companies Calling Station and BatBall11 acquired by OneVerse

OneVerse, a metaverse and gaming technology platform, has acquired two businesses: BatBall11 and Calling Station. OneVerse claims that the acquisitions will support the company in strengthening its position in the gaming industry.

While BatBall11 is a rewards-based fantasy sports platform for multiple sports that allows users to create virtual teams in hopes of winning prizes, Calling Station develops online games and offers superior experiences with safety and security.

As part of a larger strategy that was previously disclosed, the Bengaluru-based company stated in a press release that it is seeking to acquire additional companies within the next three months.

As part of its plan to acquire 13 companies, OneVerse purchased online poker platform Spartan Poker in February. Additionally, a $120 million fund was announced, which will be used to buy eight businesses.

OneVerse is a MetaVerse platform founded by Prashant Joshua with the goal of facilitating an immersive gaming experience. It seeks to continue redefining industry norms and influencing how gaming will develop in the future. The business intends to add an extra Rs 250 Crore to its investment portfolio.
