East Ventures led undisclosed funding secured by Imajin

A round of seed investment sponsored by East Ventures has secured an unknown sum for Imajin, an Indonesia-based manufacturing business. Additionally contributing were Singapore-based 500 Southeast Asia and Init 6, the venture capital firm founded by the co-founders of e-commerce player Bukalapak.

Imajin is a B2B platform that links big businesses with Indonesian SMEs that produce goods. It was established in 2019. It focuses on commodities made of metal and plastic that are used in a variety of sectors, such as packaging, electronics, and the automobile.

Additionally, the start-up offers quality control services and a platform for project management and buying raw materials. More than 500 manufacturers have worked with it thus far.

Imajin intends to use the additional cash to grow, create products, and recruit more employees.

Former MyGrowTech executives Chendy Jaya, Stefanus Hodir, and Joseline Olivia founded the business. Imajin acquired unspecified pre-seed money from Init 6 in July 2022.
