The teacher growth-focused Ed-tech platform, Suraasa, has announced the All India Teachers’ Scholarship Test (AITST) to support aspiring and in-service teachers for Teacher Eligibility Tests (TETs).
”Under the New Education Policy 2020, National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has made it compulsory for all teachers to clear TETs. Earlier, clearing TETs was a mandate only for government school teachers of Class I to Class VII,” the ed-tech platform said in a statement on Thursday.
With the introduction of the scholarship test, Suraasa aims to prepare the TET aspirants and uplift the low passing percentage in the tests since their inception in 2011, it said.
