Edtech platform byteXL raised $5.9 M Series A funding
In its Series A round led by Kalaari Capital and including the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, byteXL, an edtech platform devoted to engineering education, has raised $5.9 million.
The funds will be utilized for outreach to additional colleges and universities across the nation, product development, team growth, and the launch of new digital tools and technologies.
Karun Tadepalli founded byteXL, which collaborates with universities and businesses to integrate curriculum, content, and hands-on learning. This gives students the employability skills and awareness they need to succeed in the workplace.
Over a lakh students have received training in a variety of software technologies from byteXL since its founding through partnerships with more than 26 colleges and universities in India. These technologies include programming, cloud computing, full-stack development, and emerging technologies like cybersecurity.
A new B.Tech CSE course in artificial intelligence and machine learning was recently introduced by byteXL and Microsoft in response to industry demands.
