ConveGenius, an edtech startup, has announced a strategic partnership with Searce Inc. and raised an additional $1.8 million in its current Series A round.
In January, the Noida-based startup completed a $7 million funding round led by Mount Judi Ventures and UBS Optimus Foundation.
According to a press release from ConveGenius, the company intends to use the proceeds to further its interest in offering IP-led consulting services to the public sector and EDU segment across key markets in the US, Europe, APAC, Middle East, and India.
ConveGenius is an Indian K–12 organization that was co-founded in 2013 by Jairaj Bhattacharya and Shashank Pandey. It collaborates with state governments, CSRs, NGOs, and schools to generate long-lasting educational impact.
ConveGenius claims that by leveraging the momentum of the recent development, this new partnership will improve its cloud services and hasten the development of generative AI. The company claims to have had an impact on over 140 million Indian students.
ConveGenius’s operating revenues increased from Rs 20.72 crore in FY22 to Rs 23.93 crore in FY23, with the company recording a profit of Rs 1.53 crore in FY23 against a loss of Rs 3.88 crore in the preceding fiscal year.
