Egypt-based startup Rology has raised undisclosed investment from Dubai Angel Investors
Cairo: Egypt-based healthtech startup Rology, has raised investment from Dubai Angel Investors (DAI). The amount raised was not disclosed.
Founded in 2017 by Amr Abodraiaa, Bassam Khalaf, Mahmoud Eldefrawy and Moaaz Hossam, Rology uses technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing to facilitate medical reporting and diagnosis remotely. The healthtech startup operates a B2B model that helps match radiologists working at hospitals with patients in a timely and efficient manner.
It plans to use the investment to enhance its AI algorithms and further expand into more African markets.
The startup claims to have around 86 hospitals listed on its platform from across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Congo and Maldives, and has around 100,000 patients diagnosed through its platform so far.
