Egyptian AI recruitment startup Talents Arena raised $750K Pre-seed funding for Saudi expansion
Talents Arena, a Saudi Arabia-focused AI recruitment startup, has raised US $750,000 in a pre-seed round of funding.
Aya Elgebeely founded Talents Arena in 2019, which has created an AI-powered recruitment platform with a talents mining engine and automation features. More than 180,000 job matches have been made so far, and thousands of candidates have been placed in suitable tech jobs.
The startup, a graduate of the Plug and Play and Flat6Labs accelerator programs, has recently closed a US $750,000 pre-seed funding round, which was led by UI Investments and included a number of illustrious Saudi and regional angel investors.
The funds raised will go toward the expansion of Talents Arena into Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
“Our talent mining engine leverages advanced algorithms and machine learning models that draw upon hundreds of thousands of human decisions to find hidden gems in the talent market and match them with suitable vacancies. This in return automates and streamlines the hiring process for both employers and job seekers,” said Elgebeely.
“This funding milestone enables us to accelerate the development of our AI hiring engine and expand our footprint in the Saudi market, which already accounts for 25 percent of our client base. We are excited to bring our cutting-edge technology to businesses across industries in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, helping hiring managers and recruiters find talents faster with higher accuracy and at a better economic value.”
