Egypt’s online education platform El Kheta received $400K from EdVentures
“EdVentures,” the investment arm of Nahdet Misr Group and the first venture capital company specialising in the educational technology sector in the Middle East, has announced an investment of $400,000 in the online education platform “El Kheta.”
This contribution is a result of EdVentures’ ongoing commitment to helping entrepreneurs and startups in the educational technology space, fostering innovation in this important area, generating employment opportunities, and advancing the nation’s economic growth.
With the use of exercises and tests from the new Egyptian curricula, “El Kheta” is an innovative educational platform that helps schoolchildren in Egypt succeed academically by offering reinforcement lessons to aid in their studies.
Students can select their desired curricula and design a study schedule that works for them with the “El Kheta” platform, which provides a personalized and adaptable learning environment. In addition to homework assignments and interactive instructional videos, the platform offers reinforcement lessons, exams derived from Egyptian curricula, and direct teacher communication.
In Egypt and the Arab world, EdVentures is a fervent advocate for entrepreneurship. With this contribution, we hope to empower young people and increase the number of online learning opportunities available to Egyptian students.
Dalia Ibrahim, Founder and Chairwoman of Nahdet Misr for Entrepreneurship EdVentures, said: “We firmly believe in the potential of the ‘El Kheta’ platform to revolutionise the online education sector in Egypt, especially with its educational services for school students. We are on the path and committed to supporting talented entrepreneurs in the educational technology sector and will help them achieve their vision of creating a better and easier educational experience for everyone.”
