Eighth annual education summit to be hosted by Nigerian ed-tech startup Edusko
The eighth annual education summit, organized by Nigerian ed-tech startup Edusko, will take place in Lagos from November 1–2, bringing together educators, parents, policymakers, school administrators, education leaders, and industry influencers from all over the continent.
At Shell Hall in Ikoyi, the event—previously called the Business of Education Summit but now called ACTIVATED—is expected to draw more than 5,000 attendees.
There will be plenary talks, workshops, exhibits, musical acts, and entertaining events like edutainment and gaming contests.
“Our theme this year, “Beyond Classroom”, encapsulates our commitment to ushering in a new era of teaching and learning that empowers the next generation of African leaders beyond the classroom,” said Jide Ayegbusi, Edusko’s CEO.
“Participants can expect insightful discussions led by global speakers and experts, networking opportunities with key stakeholders, and a showcase of futuristic educational technologies and services.”
Registration to attend ACTIVATED 2024 is free here.
