Enlite raises Rs 46 Cr Series A funding from Avaana Capital

Avaana Capital led a Series A round in which Claypond Capital participated, raising Rs 46 crore (approximately $5.32 million) for the full-stack building automation startup Enlite.

The money raised will be utilized to strengthen its position in India and to expand into the Middle East and Southeast Asia. It will make investments in telemetry, edge AI, and go-to-market initiatives aimed at the public infrastructure, smart airports, real estate, pharmaceutical, and hospitality sectors.

Enlite was established in 2017 and provides a plug-and-play solution that uses cloud software, edge AI, and specially designed wireless hardware to replace antiquated wired building management systems (BMS).

By facilitating non-intrusive deployments that self-optimize for energy, performance, and user experience, its automation platform removes vendor lock-in and complicated integration.

Enlite claims to have implemented its system over 25 million square feet since its commercial launch in 2022, working with clients like Prestige Group, Fairmont Mumbai, leading real estate investment trusts, and large hospital chains. In addition, it has filed three international patents and is testing LLM-on-hardware technology.

Enlite competes with established infra-tech companies in a global market that is expected to reach a value of over $827 billion by 2032.
