Entrepreneurs from Lagos, Nairobi, & Kigali encouraged to apply for Global Urban Innovation Challenge for Emergent Cities

A worldwide Urban Innovation Challenge has been established by Utopia and the World Economic Forum’s new Centre for Urban Transformation to engage an ecosystem of 800 creative urban entrepreneurs, investors, and mayors from Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

Entrepreneurs that are developing real-world urbantech solutions that contribute to a healthier planet, enable dynamic communities, and improve human welfare are eligible for the challenge. Applicants from Lagos, Nairobi, and Kigali are encouraged to apply.

The winners will gain improved visibility, connections with investors, over $25,000 in startup resources, and the chance to join the World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers.

Startups and teams in the early stages of development are urged to apply by January 22.
