HTC, a virtual reality (VR) leader, and Gaocheng Capital, a China-based private equity firm focused on business software and technology-enabled services sectors, co-led a US $10 million series B investment round for enterprise virtual event management startup EventX.
EventX’s strategy is to spend substantially on goods and engineering to help the events sector recover during the present pandemic, which will not only stabilize and consolidate existing virtual event services but also carve out new places and possibilities for the marketing and event industries.
EventX is a Hong Kong-based company that supplies corporate organizations with digital event management solutions. It enables businesses to conduct multiple virtual events of any type, including interactive exhibition halls, online registration forms, and webinars. It now serves over 135 countries and has hosted over 20,000 events with over five million people.
