Everhope Oncology raised $10 M Seed funding

With the goal of expanding to ten cities over the next three years, Everhope Oncology, a joint venture between Narayana Health, W Health Ventures, and 2070 Health, has raised $10 million in seed funding to open medical and surgical cancer care facilities in Delhi and Mumbai.
According to a press release from the company, the recently opened facilities are made with patient comfort and convenience in mind, reducing wait times and fostering a positive treatment environment. Additionally, Everhope will expand its range of care to include pain management, dietary counseling, and mental health counseling.
It will concentrate on offering all-encompassing cancer treatment, which includes chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, and palliative care, according to Everhope Oncology.
“Many people imagine cancer treatment as patients who are weak and thin, surrounded by tubes, moving between crowded hospital rooms. Because of this, many avoid cancer screening and turn to unproven treatments. We want to change these common misconceptions about cancer care,” said Viren Shetty, Vice Chairman of Narayana Health.
One in nine Indians is predicted to get cancer at some point in their lives, according to the National Cancer Registry Program. Oral, colorectal, lung, cervical, and breast cancers are the most frequently diagnosed cancers.
In recent months, a number of cancer treatment-focused startups have raised capital. MOC Cancer Care & Research Centre recently raised $18 million, with Elevation Capital serving as the lead investor. OnCare, OneCell Diagnostics, and ErlySign are also on the list.
