Fashion brand Outzidr raises $3.1 M Pre-series A funding from RTP Global

A pre-Series A round led by RTP Global and including participation from current investor Stellaris Venture Partners has raised Rs 27 crore (roughly $3.1 million) for Outzidr, a fashion brand designed for Gen Z women.
In a previous seed round led by Stellaris Venture Partners and including a number of strategic angels, the Bengaluru-based startup raised Rs 30 crore, or about $3.5 million.
According to a press release from Outzidr, the money raised will be used for the company’s next stage of expansion, which includes expanding its design, operations, and technology teams as well as opening its first exclusive offline store by March 2026.
Outzidr is a digital-first fashion brand that offers trendy Western clothing for Indian women between the ages of 18 and 28. It was co-founded in 2024 by Nirmal Jain, Mani Kant Mani, and Justin Mario. For every occasion, including brunches, date nights, concerts, college parties, airport runs, and impromptu weekend getaways, the brand offers something for the modern woman.
Outzidr can double down on bestsellers and pilot small batches thanks to its test and scale model. According to the brand, it introduces up to 2,000 new styles per month, or 500 per week, via its own direct-to-consumer platform and well-known marketplaces like Nykaa Fashion, Myntra, and Ajio.
“Outzidr represents the energy of a new generation — fast-paced, fresh, and fearless,” said Nirmal Jain, Co-founder and CEO of Outzidr. “We’re building a brand that listens, learns, and reacts in real time. This fundraiser is a strong validation of our mission to become the everyday fashion choice for Gen Z women — and of the incredible team and opportunity we’re building for.”
Market research estimates that the fast fashion market in India is currently worth about $10 billion and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 30% to reach over $50 billion by FY 31.
The brand claims to have added over 100,000 customers, achieved 1.5x retention rates, and launched over 8,000 styles on its website in just five months. Its main rivals are the other well-known companies in this market, like Style Union, Zudio, and NEWME.
