Fast commerce platform Joper.app acquired by KiranaPro for undisclosed capital

Fast commerce platform Joper.app, a hyperlocal grocery delivery service that links customers and small Kirana stores, was purchased by KiranaPro for an undisclosed sum.

Joper.app’s operations will be fully integrated by KiranaPro through this acquisition, leveraging its advantages in customer engagement and local vendor outreach.

The onboarded stores, vendors, and customers of Joper.app will move to the single ecosystem. Joper’s experience in vendor acquisition will be leveraged by KiranaPro to increase its market penetration and fortify its relationships with local retailers.

Established by Deepak Ravindran and Dipankar Sarkar, KiranaPro uses its technology to empower nearby supermarkets and kirana shops. In order to keep Kirana stores competitive in the retail market, KiranaPro offers flexible revenue models and permits 10-minute deliveries.

The end of KiranaPro’s seed funding round is also approaching.

The Joper.app says that since its launch, it has expanded to about 25 cities, including Ranchi, Thane, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mysuru, Noida, Vaishali, and others. Operating on a rented platform, it had developed a devoted customer base and onboarded several store owners.

Localized marketing combined with AI-powered commerce will open up new avenues for Kirana store owners to grow their companies more effectively.
