Finku’s $2.8 M funding round co-led by B Capital
B Capital Group, Global Founders Capital, and Trihill Capital led a seed round of US $2.8 million for Finku, an Indonesian personal financial app.
Finku, which launched last year, allows users to track transactions across several bank and e-wallet accounts and provides real-time insights into their spending habits. More than 350,000 people have downloaded the app.
Former BCG partners Reinaldo Tendean and Shyam Kalairajah, as well as Shylla Estee, who earned expertise at Indonesian unicorn Bukalapak, founded the startup, which was accepted into Y Combinator’s most recent batch.
Finku plans to utilize the additional funds to expand across the country and hire more staff. It also intends to provide credit services to its subscribers by utilizing expenditure data.
