Fintech startup PocketATM raised $400K Pre-seed funding from Indian Express, others

In its pre-seed round, Mumbai-based fintech platform PocketATM raised $400K from various investors, including Indian Express Commercial Ventures, Samir Modi of Modicare, Himanshu Nautiyal from Fractal Analytics, Nirav Mehta of Morgan Stanley Private Equity, Hemant Adarkar of Artha Center, public policy advisor Venkatesh Hariharan, and Vertices Partners partner Rajat Agarwal.

Mihir Mehta and Sushil Kurri founded the platform, which offers users the greatest level of convenience with a guarantee of 100% transaction fulfillment at practically no cost.

The platform is gradually growing its reach; it is currently operational in the regions of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.

Through the use of idle cash liquidity at kirana stores, PocketATM allows users to withdraw cash with a QR code, doing away with the need for cards or conventional ATMs.

The platform aims to upend the retail cash management ecosystem while providing users with a flawless cash withdrawal experience.
