For SDTA24 cohort, Singapore Deep-Tech Alliance announced revamped venture building program

At the annual Sustainable Innovation Asia 2023, the sustainability-focused deep-tech venture builder Singapore Deep-Tech Alliance (SDTA) announced on Monday the beginning of its redesigned venture-building program for its third cohort.

According to a statement from SDTA, the organization’s solutions-focused flagship event will bring together public and private sector stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem with the goal of “Unlocking Deep-Tech to Fast-Track the Global Goals” to advance sustainable development.

Numerous participants will attend, bringing together the best minds to discover deep-tech solutions that advance the global Sustainable Development Goals, the statement claims.

“We are pleased that Sustainable Innovation Asia is back again in 2023. It is a synergistic platform for our Alliance Partners, Founders, and thought-leaders within the deep-tech venture ecosystem to spark new ideas and gain valuable insights,” said Clara Chen, Co-Founding Managing Partner, Commercial Office at SDTA.

She claims that as the company announces new developments in its venture-building program, there will be numerous opportunities for founders and partners to connect and work together.

“We are excited to build on the success of the inaugural Sustainable Innovation Asia as the culmination of our pilot cohort and continue our efforts to foster a thriving ecosystem for deep-tech ventures,” she added.

The SDTA’s deep-tech venture building program will be back for a third year, the statement claims, to assist entrepreneurs in bringing cutting-edge technologies to market in three phases, each of which is structured with deliverables based on founder team formation, technology commercialization, customer validation, product development, and business building.

The SDTA24 Cohort’s nine-month program will be divided into sections for new venture tracks developed specifically for the cohort, mentorship from the SDTA Senior Advisory Board, and market access through important Alliance Partners signed up with SDTA across various collaboration models.

Through technology matching, participating ventures will be able to connect with important Research Institutions and gain greater access to a more active ecosystem. They will also get additional advice from industry experts for the scoping of their proof-of-concept projects and business-building activities.

It should be noted that SDTA is dedicated to resolving societal issues by establishing deep-tech businesses in Singapore.

The company is accomplishing this by introducing five new Venture Tracks, with the ClimateTech horizontal spanning the four verticals of Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Healthcare, and Energy.

This entails strengthening collaborations with business owners in these tracks and gaining a deeper comprehension of the needs, best practices, and competitive advantages of the industry.
