For the second Microsoft-backed FAST accelerator, applications are now open
For the second cohort of the FAST startup accelerator, which was developed by Microsoft in collaboration with Flapmax and aims to expand and strengthen Africa’s digital ecosystem, applications are now being accepted.
FAST Accelerator 2023 aims to provide startup founders looking to scale quickly and sustainably with a “transformative experience” by building on the success of the first program.
In order to enable startup businesses based in Africa and emerging markets to provide sustainable solutions, the program combines business development, technology integration, funding opportunities, and community building. Additionally, it offers mentorship opportunities and specialized venture funding.
Ten startups will be chosen for the five-week program in Silicon Valley where they will network with business leaders, potential investors, and international partners through the thriving ecosystem of over 600 corporate partners at Flapmax.
“FAST Accelerator represents our commitment to supporting ambitious entrepreneurs who are driving sustainable innovation across the continent of Africa and emerging markets,” said Dave Ojika, CEO of Flapmax.
“Through this comprehensive programme, we are dedicated to connecting startup founders with a global community, industry-leading technology, and the essential startup funding necessary to forge the path towards local, sustainable, and AI-powered technological solutions of the future. Together, we unite in building a brighter future for Africa and the world, fueled by the transformative power of technology and innovation.”
