Fourth edition of climate tech accelerator LowCarbon.Earth announced by Massive Earth Foundation
The Low Carbon Earth Accelerator (LCE) program, known as LowCarbon.Earth 2024, has entered its fourth edition, which was initiated by the Massive Earth Foundation (MEF) in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
In order to address the common issues of pollution, natural habitat loss, and climate change, LCE supports climate tech startups in the Asia-Pacific area.
Startups in the fields of clean air, agri-food, digital innovation, renewable energy, sustainable mobility, and plastic pollution are invited to apply for the 2024 program run by LCE.
Applications from women-led and women-focused startups that support marginalized communities are highly encouraged.
Startups can obtain the resources and networks required to expand their creative solutions from LCE, which is headed by Shailesh Vickram Singh. It provides seminars, virtual bootcamps, networking events, mentorship sessions, and online training workshops. Finalists also have the chance to make a pitch to possible investors and, in a demonstration day finale, get one-on-one mentoring from business executives.
Of the 67 startups that competed in the 2023 edition of LCE, 14 advanced to the finals. There were seven female founders among the finalists.
An energetic synergy between investors, VCs, founders, startups, policymakers, and institutions is being created by the non-profit Massive Earth Foundation (MEF) to create a climate tech ecosystem.
