Fourth edition of VivaTech’s AfricaTech Awards now accepting applications

Applications for the fourth edition of VivaTech’s AfricaTech Awards, which honor and assist startups working to improve the fields of green technology, e-health, and e-commerce/fintech, have opened. VivaTech is an annual technology conference held in Paris.

By offering networking and mentoring opportunities with prominent tech leaders, investors, policymakers, and institutions, VivaTech hopes to open up new doors for up-and-coming startups in Africa through the AfricaTech Awards.

Those who place first in each of the three challenges—green tech, e-health, e-commerce, and fintech—have the opportunity to go to the event and give a pitch on stage. Startups need to be based in Africa, have an African focus, and have raised at least $150,000 USD.
