FreeStand raised $400K Seed funding from VCats and Nocking Point

Venture Catalysts and Nocking Point Advisors led a seed fundraising round of $400,000 for FreeStand, a B2B marketing platform that is redefining quantifiable and targeted product sampling programs for top FMCG companies in India.

Participating in the round were strategic angel investors Guneet Singh and Varun Singh Hooda, SucSEED Indovation, and IIM-Calcutta Innovation Park.

Utilizing AI to improve and streamline the product experience for FMCG marketers, the New Delhi-based startup intends to use the additional funding to broaden its capabilities to encompass event and retail sampling channels.

Co-founded by Konark Sharma, Kavach Chandra, and Sneh Soni, FreeStand arranges and provides hundreds of sampling outlets, making it easier for FMCG firms to carry out their product sampling campaigns. This gives brands a special dashboard for tracking campaign results while guaranteeing that product samples end up with the intended consumer.

Prominent FMCG companies such as HUL, Nestle, Reckitt Benckiser, L’Oreal, Nivea, Piramal Healthcare, Cipla Health, and Emami have become fans of the platform.

The features of FreeStand can be accessed through a variety of channels, including ad networks, e-commerce, and fast commerce through sites like Zepto, Flipkart, Swiggy, Meta Platforms, and contemporary retail chains.
