Fullerton, a Temasek private equity fund is tokenized

Fullerton Fund Management Company, a Singapore-based investment firm, will use the private market exchange platform ADDX to list its private equity fund of funds digitally.

Through the Singapore Exchange-backed platform, tokenized access to the Fullerton Optimised Alpha Fund – which aims for annual returns of 8% to 12% over a seven-year fund life – will be available.

Tokenization uses blockchain and smart contracts to digitalize an asset. On ADDX, investors can invest as little as US $10,000 in the Fullerton fund, as opposed to the US $250,000 necessary in typical methods.

Six to eight private equity and private credit funds will be involved in the fund. Blue-chip managers with consistent investment strategies and performance across market cycles are chosen by Temasek’s subsidiary.

The defensive, tech-enabled, new economy, post-Covid recovery, and environmental, social, and governance-aligned sectors will be the focus of the Fullerton Optimised Alpha Fund.
