Gaming startup Qila Games raised $1 M Pre-seed funding

Pre-seed funding for the hybrid-casual gaming startup Qila Games, headed by Chimera VC, has raised $1 million.  Other angel investors have also taken part, including Visceral Capital, Atrium Angels, Ventatana Ventures, 91 Ventures, and Untitled Ventures.

The money raised will be utilized to improve its technological and design skills, create new intellectual properties (IPs), and diversify its game portfolio.

Dhananjai Hari and Neeraj Mishra founded Qila Games in 2024 with the goal of creating hybrid-casual games, which blend the intricacy of mid-core games with the ease of casual gaming.

In February 2025, Qila Games launched Ludo Hero, their debut game. The game blends strategic combat, conquests, and hero abilities with the traditional Ludo gameplay.

In a seed funding round led by 3one4 Capital, mobile game publisher Felicity Games raised $3 million last week. Additionally, Triple Tap Games raised $1.2 million in February, with Eximius Ventures and Kalaari Capital leading the round.
