Financed by the German government The GreenAPI: Smart Agriculture Programme, which aims to assist Senegalese agri-tech startups to scale more quickly, has opened applications. It is run by Make-IT in Africa and mobile operator Orange.

The GreenAPI: Smart Agriculture Programme, which is jointly run by Make-IT in Africa and Orange, aims to improve agricultural practices in Africa by giving smallholder farmers, businesses, and other value chain participants greater and better access to smart agriculture services.

The GreenAPI: Smart Agriculture Programme facilitates business partnerships between smart agriculture startups and DAPs, giving startups the tools, they need to integrate their goods and services with DAPs. It also gives startups the chance to be paired with a DAP in order to develop and test a joint service offering that will lead to a sustainable business relationship.
