Grand Challenges Senegal launched by Institut Pasteur de Dakar (IPD)
The Institut Pasteur de Dakar (IPD), which is organizing the meeting, will have a healthcare-related focus on the 2023 Grand Challenges Annual Meeting in Dakar, Senegal.
The frequency, severity, and severity of epidemic threats are rising, yet the globe is still poorly unprepared and unprotected. In order to improve epidemic intelligence, monitoring, and outbreak response, Grand Challenges Senegal is seeking applications from innovators working around Africa as well as African scientists in the diaspora for its inaugural round of projects.
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Grand Challenges Canada, and the Senegalese government will all provide financial assistance for initiatives promoting innovation in this field.
Up to January 31, 2023, grant requests can be filed in Wolof, French, or English.
