GrowUp Incubator programme focused on mobility, transport opens applications
Applications for the most recent iteration of the GrowUp incubation program, which seeks social business ideas for sustainable tourism and transportation in East Africa, are now being accepted by the Yunus Environment Hub (YEH).
The Nobel Peace Prize winner Prof. Muhammad Yunus co-founded and serves as the executive director of YEH, a worldwide social enterprise network that develops solutions to environmental issues. In order to solve environmental challenges, it promotes and develops social business solutions that are self-sufficient financially.
In order to help early-stage entrepreneurs in the travel and mobility industries identify and execute possible ways that the circular economy might assist their growth, as well as evaluate the effectiveness of their green social companies, it just launched a new incubation program. Entrepreneurs in Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Burundi will get help from the cohort.
Selected entrepreneurs will receive peer-to-peer support and training on implementing circular solutions during the six-month program. They will also have access to interactive capacity-building bootcamps, on-demand sessions to help implement circular strategies, and networking opportunities with regional and international partners.
