Health science firm Prenetics collaborates with David Beckham for new health brand
David Beckham, a former international football player, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, has joined Prenetics, a Hong Kong-based health sciences company that is listed on the NASDAQ, as a strategic investor.
A statement released by Prenetics stated that the company, along with Beckham, will co-found IM8, a new health and wellness brand that will specialize in state-of-the-art consumer health products. Further information will be released at a later time.

Prenetics’ co-founder and chief executive officer, Danny Yeung, stated that the company is entering a revolutionary phase in global health innovation and wellness as a result of this collaboration with Beckham.

It should be mentioned that Beckham also met with Professor Dennis Lo, a shareholder in Prenetics, and was impressed by what he learned about Professor Lo’s 1997 groundbreaking discovery of non-invasive prenatal testing as well as his current emphasis on early cancer detection.
These discussions have brought to light the enormous potential impact that Prenetics’ innovations could have on longevity and global health.
The goal of Prenetics is to improve clinical and consumer health.
The brand-new health and wellness company IM8 is in charge of its consumer initiative.
Insighta, a $200 million joint venture with eminent scientist Prof. Dennis Lo that focuses on multi-cancer early detection technologies, is in charge of the company’s clinical division.
Next up are CircleDNA, which offers comprehensive deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) testing via next-generation sequencing (NGS), and ACT Genomics, which has received FDA clearance for comprehensive genomic profiling of solid tumors.
