Health service provider PhysioHome secured undisclosed Seed funding from angel investors
Angel investors participated in the completion of PhysioHome’s seed round, which is focused on providing health services.
The business closed its pre-seed round in 2022, with angel investors from Oqal leading the way in collaboration with Sanabel 500 and the Saudi Venture Capital Company.
As part of the health sector accelerator funded by the Ministry of Health and Establishments, PhysioHome was founded in 2021.
The startup has graduated from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology’s Taqadum Accelerator as well.
Two major products have been developed by the company: Amin is the first product and provides specialized technical solutions for home rehabilitation, including speech and occupational therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, therapeutic nutrition, and personal training for adults and the elderly.
From evaluation and training to equipping service providers and monitoring session details to filing required reports, the PhysioHome team oversees the complete medical care process. as well as creating treatment strategies.
With a focus on the medical and behavioral rehabilitation of children up to the age of 12, the second product, Childhood, is a technological solution. Creating an integrated system for kids that combines in-home and remote services is the main goal of the product. By the end of 2023, this service went live in an experimental capacity. With the most recent round, it hopes to broaden the scope of its operations in the upcoming months and years.
PhysioHome collaborates with over 700 providers on its platform and has over 100 providers offering rehabilitation services in nine cities. Furthermore, it has contracts with autism-focused centers to create programs that integrate in-home and online services and assist parents in monitoring their child’s progress.
The business has already inked more than 15 contracts with public and private organizations to offer employee health benefits and discounts.
