Healthtech startup Stance Health raised $1 M Pre-seed funding

Stance Health, a healthtech startup, has raised $1 million in its initial round of funding. Silicon Valley venture capital firm General Catalyst spearheaded the funding.
Additional investors include Kulin Shah, a co-founder of Onsurity, Antler, DeVC (backed by Z47), and angel investors Sriharsha Majety and Nandan Reddy.
It will use the money to expand its services in India, enhance its online platform, and open additional physical locations in Bengaluru and other cities.
Stance, which was founded in 2024 by Rohit Arora and Ninad Karandikar, specializes in musculoskeletal (MSK) care, which relieves pain in the bones, joints, and muscles. It offers online rehabilitation programs in addition to in-person care at its centers.
After opening its first center in Bengaluru, the startup says it has already conducted over 12,000 sessions in just eight months. In addition to expanding to another city the following year, it intends to add six more centers by December.
