HiiL’s Innovating Justice Challenge open for Applications
The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL) has launched submissions for its Innovating Justice Challenge 2022, which is looking for solutions aimed at avoiding or addressing a justice problem that affects a large number of people, especially small and medium-sized enterprises.
HiiL is scouting the next generation of talented justice innovators from around Africa and the Middle East, notably Ethiopia, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Tunisia, to enhance access to justice for millions of people.
HiiL’s Justice Accelerator is searching for potential new justice innovations to prevent or resolve the most pressing justice demands in the areas of crime, land, employment, family, tenancy, and neighbour disputes this year.
The top innovators will then be asked to join the HiiL Justice Accelerator programme, where they will receive a non-equity investment of up to EUR10,000 (US $11,000) as well as access to a comprehensive training programme, coaching and mentorship sessions, and HiiL’s worldwide network. They’ll have worldwide exposure, investment opportunities, and the chance to win up to EUR20,000 (US $22,000) on demo day.
March 31 is the last date to apply.
