Home decor startup DecorTwist raised $250K Seed funding from angel investor
Adhvith Dhuddu, an angel investor, led a $250,000 seed round for the home décor company DecorTwist.
According to a press release from DecorTwist, the money will help with growth into the B2B market, marketing outreach, and product line expansion.
Anupam Rajey and Nidhi Bajpai co-founded DecorTwist in March 2022 to provide home goods in a variety of categories, including dining, decor, gardening, furniture, pooja essentials, and gifting.
The company, which was initially bootstrapped, claims that in the first 1.5 years since its inception, the number of orders it has received has increased 2.5-fold and its team and headcount have doubled.
Along with others, Pepperfry, Nestasia, Woodenstreet, and HomeTown operate in the same market.
In addition to its own website, DecorTwist also markets its goods on online stores like Amazon.
Serial entrepreneur Dhuddu has backed startups in industries like food and beverage, adtech, and logistics, including California Burrito, Wrap2Earn, CarterX, and others.
