HSBC led Series A funding raised by digital market infrastructure operator Marketnode

The operator of digital market infrastructure in Singapore, Marketnode, announced on Thursday that the first close of its Series A funding round, which was spearheaded by HSBC and included contributions from current shareholder Temasek, was successful.

According to a statement from Marketnode, the investment will be used to expand the company’s platforms and fulfill the goals of its shareholders to create a multi-asset ecosystem, beginning in Asia-Pacific.

The announcement states that Marketnode will be able to work with the financial services sector to expand infrastructure in important asset classes like digital fixed income and structured products, take part in the upcoming Fundnode launch, and introduce additional tokenized asset offerings as a result of the investment.
