Vivalyf Innovations, a Hyderabad-based healthcare company, said on Wednesday that it has received Rs 56 lakh in investment for 33.33 percent ownership in the inaugural season of Shark Tank India.
On Shark Tank India, Peyush Bansal and Anupam Mittal gave funding. After a presentation of the painless portable glucometer device ” Ezlyf” by creators Duvvuru Varshitha, who has been a diabetic since childhood, and Vimal Kumar on Sony Entertainment Television.
Varshitha’s compelling and insightful concept of making the world a less painful and cheaper place for diabetics landed her a fantastic offer from Shark Tank India’s investors.
Diabetes affects almost 537 million people worldwide, making it the world’s fastest-growing disease. Many people go untreated because of a lack of understanding and practicality.
Varshitha has been a diabetic from childhood and has struggled to find a painless solution that is available to all diabetes people.
Varshitha has been a diabetic from childhood and has struggled to find a painless solution that is available to all diabetes people.
Vivalyf Innovations, a proactive healthcare ecosystem, created Ezlyf, a no-pain, non-invasive, cheap, and portable glucometer to make a diabetes patient’s life easier and pain-free.
Ezlyf, a non-invasive glucometer, helps India’s 77.9 million diabetes patients by providing quick glucose levels that are painless, inexpensive, and easy to use, making their lives easier.
Speaking about her experience, Varshitha said, “The major reason we wanted to start this company was to provide better and customized solutions to the customers. I am a Type 1 diabetic and have been pricking needles 4 times a day for the past 20 years. I know the physical pain and mental pain of it all as it’s a huge financial burden on my middle-class parents. I would like to elaborate on this point that this is not just my story, there are millions of people who must have gone through similar and worse pain which can be alleviated with the perfect solutions provided by our company. In lieu of that vision, I decided to give up my seat from the top-rated institutions for medical and engineering to start this company with my friend”.
It’s overwhelming for both of us, that our business venture Vivalyf is being recognized by such a huge platform like Shark Tank India that is giving wings to our dream of improving the lives of millions who are suffering from diabetes, she said.
“I am thankful to the Sharks Peyush Bansal and Anupam Mittal for believing in our vision and helping us to expand our business so that we can reach out to a larger set of audience who are struggling to find healthcare solutions for diabetes,” Varshitha added.
