Ikonz Studios raised $5 M Pre-series A funding

The hyper-realistic, multilingual digital avatar and holographic technology company Ikonz Studios has received $5 million in strategic funding from Marc Jordan as part of its ongoing pre-Series A round. Ramana Thummu, Madhusudan Kela, and Akash Bhanshali also participated in the round; all four investors did so through their family offices.
The money will be used to scale its IP portfolio, improve AI capabilities, and expedite its global expansion, Ikonz Studios said in a press release.
Abhinav Varma Kalidindi founded Ikonz Studios in 2021. It is a next-generation AI company that uses generative AI to produce holographic experiences and incredibly lifelike, multilingual digital avatars. The company wants to transform digital engagement by using intelligent AI-driven experiences to bring famous figures to life.
By combining real-time voice and video processing with visual recognition capabilities, the Hyderabad-based company is committed to developing its AI technology. In both digital and real-world settings, this allows AI avatars to “see” and communicate with users.
By creating incredibly lifelike avatars using generative AI and holographic technologies, Ikonz Studios is revolutionizing interaction in sectors like banking, healthcare, education, and retail.
Although the business is well-established in India, it also intends to enter the North American market.
