The first-ever Africa Tech Summit Awards have been announced by Africa Tech Summit as a new platform to honor the continent’s most creative and influential tech companies, leaders, and solutions.
At the annual Africa Tech Summit in Nairobi, where the continent’s leading innovators, entrepreneurs, and business executives come together to discover, network, and invest in African technology, the winners of the Africa Tech Summit Awards will be revealed on February 12, 2025. With a particular emphasis on up-and-coming innovators and trailblazing women in the tech sector, the submission categories represent the diversity of Africa’s tech ecosystem.
They consist of the following: the Female Tech Innovator Award, the Young Tech Innovator Award, the Fintech Award, the AI Award, the Agritech Award, the Climate Tech Award, and the Cross Border Payments Award. The deadline for applications is December 5, 2024, and established businesses, startups, and scaleups are all encouraged to apply. An impartial group of professionals from the industry will choose the winners.
