Indonesian Amoda’s Pre-seed funding backed by East Ventures
East Ventures has provided unspecified pre-seed money to Amoda, an Indonesian prefabricated building tech business.
Amoda was founded by Robin Yovianto and Agusti Salman Farizi last year with the goal of digitalizing the construction process through its prefabricated goods on its web platform. The two decided to launch the business as a result of the shortcomings they observed in the conventional construction sector, including a lack of competent personnel and a lack of transparency and dependability.
The firm offers prefabricated components that can speed up construction and save expenses, and it lets consumers pick and design their structures online. Both people and companies in Indonesia can use it.
According to Amoda, its income has increased thrice since the year 2022 began compared to the prior one. The business did not, however, give exact figures.
The firm will increase its R&D efforts, recruit additional personnel, and expand its production facilities with the new financing. In order to improve the customer experience from beginning to finish, Amoda also intends to create new products to meet a variety of demands and upgrade its technology.
“The fund from East Ventures will accelerate our mission of bringing more social and economic impacts to Indonesia,” said Yovianto, who also serves as Amoda’s CEO.
