Indonesian FishLog raised seed funding from Insignia Ventures Partners
FishLog, an Indonesian B2B fisheries marketplace, has raised an unknown seed round.
Insignia Ventures Partners is leading the charge. The round was also attended by Arise Ventures, KK Fund, impact investor Ango Ventures, and Indian growth stage business Captain Fresh. It also includes famous angel investors from Indonesia, like Edward Tirtanata, co-founder and CEO of Kopi Kenangan, Windy Natriavi, CMO of Shipper Jessica Hendrawidjaja, and other key angel investors.
This round of investment will be used to extend the company’s ecosystem of digital-first fisheries goods and services in Indonesia, scale its regional network across the nation, allow new partners to join the ecosystem, and grow its personnel and capabilities.
Bayu Anggara, Reza Fahlepi, and Abdul Halim founded FishLog in 2020. The firm established a digital platform to enhance distribution for fisheries stakeholders such as fishermen, processors, and cold chain logistics, with a particular focus on increasing distribution to boost volume. FishLog claims that since applying this methodology, income has increased by over 20 times year over year.
