Intudo, BRI Ventures led $2.5 M Seed funding secured by SerMorpheus

A seed fundraising round headed by Intudo Ventures and including 500 Global and BRI Ventures garnered US $2.5 million for the blockchain firm SerMorpheus in Indonesia.

SerMorpheus is a company that assists businesses and brands in developing NFTs for their clientele and fan communities. Additionally, the business makes it possible for end users to buy NFTs with Indonesian rupiah.

The business is also creating a drag-and-drop NFT builder that lets users create and distribute tokens rapidly.

The company’s main goal is to deliver NFT-enabled advantages in practical applications, particularly for event tickets. The Jogjarockarta music festival, Indonesian singer Prilly Latuconsina, the film Mencuri Raden Saleh, the local football team Persita Tangerang, Indonesia Comic Con, and these entities have all cooperated with it.

All of SerMorpheus’ partners are headquartered in the archipelago due to its emphasis on offline encounters. The creators did note that future use cases may include clients from throughout the world.

Serial entrepreneurs Budi Sukmana and Kenneth Tali, who also co-created the equity crowdfunding company Likuid in 2018, founded the startup. Tali clarified that they are currently entirely concentrated on the new company.

SerMorpheus intends to use the additional funds for staffing and product development. Currently, the company’s business development, marketing, community, and technical divisions collectively employ about 30 people.
