Jewellery savings app Plus received $350K Seed funding from EvolveX
Plus, an app for saving money on jewellery, has raised $350K in a seed round co-led by EvolveX, a startup accelerator led by We Founder Circle and supported by VCats and other angel investors. JITO, Vineet Saxena, Abhishek Gupta, Sunil Singhvi, Vijay Rajagopal, Abhay Tandon, Shiva Mohandas, Sachin Shetty, and others also participated in the funding round.
According to a press release from Plus, the money will be used for expansion and improving the company’s operations.
Veer Mishra and Raj Parakh co-founded Plus is a Jewellery in 2022 to help customers save for desired jewellery purchases by dealing directly with the jeweller and receiving up to 20% discounts. With the help of this platform, Indian housewives can save money for jewellery while also earning 10% a year in interest.
Before its B2C launch, the Bengaluru-based startup claims that it actively sought out jeweller partners. It now claims to be in the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phase and to have a roster of over 270 jewellers on board as partners.
The startup accelerator program at EvolveX offers upfront funding in the range of $20K to $200K in the form of credits. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and it offers startups ongoing opportunity.
