A call for applications has been released by the African Centre for a Green Economy’s Green Innovation Hub (GiH) for its Just Transition Innovation Programme (JTIP), which seeks creative green businesses prepared to spearhead Africa’s low-carbon transition and climate action.
The Just Transition Innovation Programme offers customised coaching, formal business development training, and increased visibility to assist environmentally conscious businesses.
“Our aim is to prepare entrepreneurs to scale their enterprises, create job opportunities, and help countries achieve their climate adaptation and mitigation goals. By fostering collaboration and networking, we empower entrepreneurs to explore opportunities beyond their borders and connect with investors and stakeholders,” the organisers said.
The program provides entrepreneurs with a rare chance to polish their business plans, find finance and mentorship, and grow their operations for maximum effect.
