The Philippines-based business-to-business (B2B) software as a service (SaaS) startup Sprout Solutions has purchased JustPayroll Inc.’s Philippine operations.
According to a statement released by Sprout Solutions on Wednesday, the agreement applies to all current local clients as well as staff members.
It should be mentioned that JustPayroll is a top supplier of business-class payroll solutions, including timekeeping, scheduling, salary computations, payroll outsourcing, and government reporting services, to the Philippine market.
The acquisition gives JustPayroll customers the chance to join Sprout’s community of over 1,000 client organizations and access to an ecosystem of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered solutions that automate and enhance critical human resource (HR) processes throughout the employee lifecycle. This aligns with Sprout’s North Star, which is to improve business in the Philippines and impact the lives of every Filipino.
Additionally, existing JustPayroll clients will continue to receive assistance and guidance from their current support contacts during this transition period—now that they are part of Sprout’s Customer Success team.

Aiming to streamline their Asian operations, JustPayroll Chief Executive Officer David Bell announced that the company has decided to withdraw from the local SaaS and outsourced payroll markets in the Philippines, concentrating instead on their business process outsourcing (BPO) and group professional employment organization (PEO) offerings.
