INCUBEES: Tell us about your product or services?
Pratik: KnowLaw Inc. is an educational initiative to help law aspirants, students, and mentors. It has been established with the objective of promoting academic research and fostering debate on contemporary legal issues.  KnowLaw is not just some regular site providing law students with study materials but is a user-friendly platform that helps people belonging to the legal cliché get a better understanding of the legal framework. Our sole goal is to educate people about their rights. We are here to assist the law aspirants, students, and mentors to have a better understanding of the field they have stepped into and to make all the information available in one place. The objective of KnowLaw is to convey the bonafide and correct content to our audience. We keep our moral and ethical values above all.
Apart from that, we have also started certain ventures that are for the betterment of law students and aspirants, and the society at large. We at KnowLaw know the problems that all the budding lawyers go through. We have taken a step towards solving this issue.
INCUBEES: What makes your product/services unique and what competition do you see in India and globally?
Pratik: We do not put up content just for the sake of it. We wish to excel and also make our audience excel in the legal field. We are here not only to make this institution successful but also to take our audience along with us to climb the ladder of knowledge and success. There are a lot of platforms already that are providing information but the thing that makes us unique is that that we have a very professional with a hint of a personal approach in what we do and that we have everything in one place. We are like Amazon, everything available from A to Z, and what is not will be there soon. There are a lot of sites already established in India so we strongly believe that this unique feature will help us grow bigger. We are a small startup if you see globally but what we believe is that everything starts small. Hence, we must face any obstacle to achieve our vision.
INCUBEES: What are the challenges you see in the market at this point in time?

Pratik: At this point in time, the biggest challenge that we face is the already existing competition in our field. There are a lot of sites that are well established for a long time and are known to be very reliable regarding the information that they post. Since we lack in resources that the already established sites possess, that is one other thing that makes our progress a little slower. We have to gain the confidence of our audience so that they trust us too like they trust the well-known sites which is a very big challenge in itself.

INCUBEES: Tell us about your team and what inspires them?
Pratik: We have an ambitious lot. A lot that is working hard every day to make this vision a reality. Our vision to get every legal information to our audience.  We are all students working for our fellow students. We know how much a law student has to go through to make notes, to find acts, or to find any information pertaining to the legal world. Our team works hard day and night to make our vision come true and also to make things easier for the people belonging to the legal fraternity, as at the end of the day that is our motive. This team puts in everything so that they could make everything available in one place for all the law aspirants and law students, to unburden them of their extra baggage.

There’s straightforwardness in all of the work we do and publish on our site so that the law aspirants, as well as the ones, pursuing it, can get a much better, improved, and better understanding of the working and the legal framework.
INCUBEES: Where do you see your product/service reaching in the next five years?
Pratik: In the coming years, we aim at enhancing the various facilities being provided by our initiative as well as adding new ones. We wish to be an online law-focused hub for an audience of the most diverse range, such that we might able to support aspirants in understanding this field as well as graduates who wish to brush up on their basics. We are working towards the expansion of our network in order to figure out the new needs of our users so as to make the respective solutions available to them. Collaborations with prominent experts are also a part of our development portfolio. This includes hosting seminars, guest lectures, and organizing events for the users, and incorporating the experts as advisors to the organization. We believe that their guidance will help us reach our goal. Overall, in the next five years, KnowLaw will establish itself as one of the major legal platforms with ever-developing resources which will act as a beacon for all categories of an audience who wish to understand the field of law.
INCUBEES: Do you have plans to raise funding to grow your business or allow your business to organically grow?
Pratik: Yes, we do have plans for funding to grow our business. As of yet, we are focusing more upon growing our audience and creating a difference in the legal fraternity. Our growth strategy is completely organic as we wish to grow it through internal processes, relying on its own resources.
INCUBEES: What are the challenges you face as a startup?
Pratik: The challenges we face as a startup are a handful but we know that we will overcome them with time. The biggest challenge that we face currently is time management. As we all are students, we have got to focus on our academics while creating and bringing our dream to life. Another challenge that we face is gaining confidence from the audience. Though, we’ve been lucky in this regard since our audience is a lovely lot who have always supported us, we still need to go a long way. Also, we have less experience regarding what goes on in the market. We have been trying to improve this part and have been successful to a great extent. Experience is something we will always need down the lane.
