For the most recent iteration of Pitch AgriHack 2023, which is looking for young agri-tech entrepreneurs with solutions tackling issues with food security and empowering smallholder farmers across the continent, applications are now open.
These entrepreneurs have a platform to present their technological innovations at Pitch AgriHack in an effort to change the agricultural landscape of the continent. Pitch AgriHack 2023 will honor the most promising projects that tackle major problems and advance sustainable agricultural development with a total prize pool of $45,000 USD.
Three categories—early-stage agri-tech ventures, mature or growth-stage agri-tech ventures, and women-led agri-tech ventures—are recognized as winners in the competition. Each winner will receive a cash prize of US $10,000, and each runner-up will receive US $5,000. There will be a total of three winners and three runners-up.
African founders or co-founders with companies offering agri-tech solutions and digital services in the agriculture sector, aged 18 to 40, are eligible for the competition. Until July 3, applications are accepted here.
