Legal AI startup Jurisphere raises $2.2 M funding from InfoEdge Ventures

In a funding round headed by InfoEdge Ventures and involving Flourish Ventures, Antler, and 8i Ventures, the legal AI startup Jurisphere has raised $2.2 million.

The money raised will be used to expand internationally and create a network of legal experts who are AI-native.

Manas Khandelwal, Varun Khandelwal, and Sumit Ghosh founded the company in 2024 with the goal of developing an outcome-based legal AI platform that integrates software and a network of legal experts.

Currently, over 500 teams from law firms, businesses, and public institutions use Jurisphere’s AI-powered workspace for tasks like legal research, drafting, review, and collaboration.

In order to give clients access to legal knowledge while utilizing shared AI workflows for execution, the startup is now extending its model to incorporate AI with a marketplace of attorneys.

By fusing technology and human expertise, its platform aims to improve legal outcomes rather than just productivity.
