Lightspeed led $3 M Seed funding received by AI application development platform Portkey.ai
Platform for developing AI applications Asana, AWS, OpenAI, cloudflare, Postman, and Lightspeed were among the angel investors who contributed to Portkey.ai’s $3 million seed funding round, which was led by Lightspeed.
According to Portkey.ai’s press release, the money will be used to scale the company’s operations (technical and human) as well as to develop new product capabilities, conduct research and development, and complete the LLMOps stack.
The tools developed by Portkey.ai, which Rohit Agarwal and Ayush Garg co-founded in January 2023, enable businesses to efficiently monitor their language models (LLMs), experiment with changes, and manage prompts. Along with that, it provides robust integrations with other players, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Langchain, and others.
Through its full stack LLMOps solution, the company asserts that it already handles millions of requests per day for cutting-edge Gen AI firms like Postman, Jio Haptik, Springworks, and others.
Real-time canary testing for continuous evaluation of models and prompts, as well as fine-tuning models, are among the company’s primary research areas, according to the Bengaluru-based business, which plans to introduce new products in these fields in the near future. Additionally, the business claims to have a substantial user base in the United States and a global presence. For its rapidly expanding customer base in the long run, it seeks to improve AI application development.
